That pretty much covers it - these guys were amazing. They are all student athletes, but the training was obvious in the way they communicated with clear ways to tell one another to watch the height of something, or a corner, or a step. Occasionally they would compliment one another with things like "nice power lift!" which also made me giggle.
Now, their ads promised that they will run whenever they are not carrying your things. This saves you time and money (they charge by the hour). They do, in fact, run. This picture is fuzzy because they are running and I am walking (after Kai, who joined us for the move):

The movers were also great with Kai. Even those that were not entirely comfortable with little kids were nice. But all of them offered to let her ride on anything they were carrying. She refused, getting shy, but she had a good time all the same. She pulled all her bedding onto the floor in Courtney's bedframe and "took a nap":
She's not at all asleep in that picture, she's pretending. She only gave one mover a heart attack, trying to walk right through the mattress he was carrying with another fellow. I shouted her name and grabbed her, the poor guy jumped over himself to avoid colliding with her...it was quite a scene. Disaster averted, they carried on and I did a better job keeping her out of the way. I'm going to try adding a short clip of her playing in Courtney's bedframe (not sure if this will work):
Craig was outside on the phone when two of the guys were carrying a sofa out. A third guy was giving them a hard time about complaining. Ultimately, that third man picked up one of the two holding the sofa and carried him (still holding the sofa) out to the truck. We really wish we had gotten video of that! But Craig was on the phone at the time, so we don't even have a picture.
We made a few discoveries as we moved furniture. This picture is the wall behind Bryce's dresser (which may not have moved in 12 years):

The movers used lots of sports terminology while moving, but I think my favorite was "spotting". They would offer to spot one another and ask for a spotter. Here are a couple pictures of our enormous sofa going upstairs:

The first spotter was needed, so another was called in to help. They really loved our weird staircase, which allowed them to run around to the other side to help with some of our larger furniture (of which we have plenty).
